Volume 6: New Additions
Welcome Singh and Naini!
While Running for Resilience continues to grow, so does W4R (100 subscribers!) as all our writers have come back fresh and firing from the holiday break!
Tim Fulton’s writing has been on fire of late as he reflected on painful memories of living with a rare disease, and how it motivated him to establish the Running Rare Health Fund in partnership with Hands Across Canberra.
Clare Carey reflected on the topic of loyalty in the sporting world, while Breeny shared why need needed a break from R4R.
Coming off his high from the UTA 100, Brent Ford shared how unforgiving Ultra running is after receiving a reality check last weekend, and Ben Alexander shared how his experiment of sharing his writing on other platforms is going.
And last but certainly not least, Sam Wilson celebrated 9 months sober and shared how he’s had this internal conflict and self-doubt throughout his life. Well done mate and I think a lot people can relate.
Also last night was our monthly catch-up, and we welcomed R4R legend Singh Talwar and his awesome wife Naini, who are both keen to start writing.
We’d love to have more people join W4R, so if you’re keen to join our monthly catch-up, leave your email in a comment below and we’ll add you to the meeting invite.
Just. Keep. Writing.
